Yeah, at the very least Apple should have one "el cheapo" display to go along with the mini. Just, say, a 17" LCD for maybe $299. IT doesn't have to be the cheapest, it just has to be reasonable and compete. With Apple, you know it would look pretty enough to justify spending a little bit more. (And probably have some USB ports on it or something else extra.)

I think they're actually pretty neat and useful. And at $29 for 6 different kinds, that's not a bad deal. f I didn't already have a case that works pretty well for me, I'd buy a pack.
Just because something may not work for you personally does not mean it's not a good idea, or that other people may not like it.
I don't think Apple is labelling people as suckers and trying to gauge us with the iPod socks - they merely saw a need and filled it.
